We built Stradora to close the gap between the two - a single place to find, compare and book the road trips worth rearranging your year for.
Stradora started from a simple frustration: finding a genuinely good road trip meant trawling a dozen operator websites, none of which could be compared properly, half of which hadn't been updated since a previous decade, and none of which knew what you actually drove or rode.
So we built the thing we wanted to use ourselves - a single, honest place to browse journeys from specialist operators around the world, filtered by the vehicle sitting in your garage rather than a generic "adventure holiday" category. We don't run the trips. We don't own the roads. We just do the unglamorous work of finding the operators worth your time, and get out of the way.
Every journey on Stradora has been vetted by someone who has actually seen the road - not scraped from a press release. That's slower to build than an algorithm-only catalogue, and we think it's the only way to do this properly.
Every road trip on Stradora is vetted, filterable by vehicle, region, duration and style, and comes from an operator we'd actually recommend to a friend.
Browse journeysTrip reports, driving guides and the odd argument about gearboxes, written by people who've actually driven the roads in question.
Read Road BookTell Compass what's in your garage and what you're after, and it narrows the entire catalogue down to what's actually worth your time.
Ask CompassIf a journey doesn't have real photography yet, we say so plainly rather than dressing it up with stock imagery. You should never have to guess what you're actually booking.
Operators don't buy their way up the list. What you see first is what our editors think is genuinely worth your time, not who paid the most for placement.
A classic car and an adventure motorcycle want very different roads. Everything on Stradora is built around what you actually drive or ride, not a one-size-fits-all questionnaire.
We'd rather list 159 journeys we'd stake our name on than 1,500 we scraped from operator feeds. Growth that outpaces quality control isn't growth we want.
We work with a small, growing list of specialist operators worldwide - no listing fees, no pay-to-rank, just a genuine audience of people who already own the right vehicle.
